Looking for some fun for the whole family? Then come on out to a Touch-a-Truck event in your area.
This Saturday, September 24th, Wyoming Area Catholic Teacher Group will host a Touch-a-Truck event at Wyoming Area Catholic School. The event will take place from 11 am to 3 pm and feature a variety of trucks and vehicles that children can interact with. Whether it’s working the siren of a police car, climbing into an excavator, or blowing the horn of a tractor trailer, children will have fun learning about the vehicles and getting in on the action. For those children startled by the loud noises, the event will hold a silent hour from 11 am to noon. Food vendors will also be available.
Come out and get your picture taken with Road Scholar Transport’s dog truck, reminding everyone that we are “Top Dog in Transportation!”
Admission: $5 per person, $15 per family
Date: September 24th
Time: 11 am-3 pm
Location: Wyoming Area Catholic School 1690 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, PA
Another Touch-a-Truck event will be held Saturday, October 1st at Scranton’s Nay Aug Park. This will mark the 8th annual event hosted by the Junior League of Scranton. Children will be allowed to touch and interact with a variety of cars and trucks, as well as become educated on safety, the parts of the vehicle, and the occupation associated with each.
Come out and see some of your favorite mascots, enjoy food, beverages, and music, and take part in activities and games.
