Brain cancer kills over 25,000 people in the U.S. each year and is the leading cause of death from cancer in children. Recently, a biotech firm conducting clinical trials to find a treatment for this very aggressive disease entrusted Pentagon Transport with a very special mission.

In order to develop customized immunotherapy for people suffering from brain cancer, Pentagon has been tasked with transporting a patient’s cancer tumor right from the operating room to the client’s laboratory. Once personalized immunotherapy is developed for that patient, we transport the treatment back to the hospital to be administered to the patient. To preserve the integrity of both the tumor and the treatment, this mission requires specialized temperature-controlled, highly secure containers; both ground and air transport; and an unyielding commitment to quality. To say that we are honored to have been chosen for this critical mission that can potentially save thousands of lives is an understatement.
